This year the school organised a day to commemorate the French
To commemorate this day, the teachers set up an exhibition in the library in which there were French books, CDs, magazines, food, perfumes and photos. In class we all ate “crêpes” with Nutella and watched a movie. For lunch the students ate French Fries and chicken
while music blasted out from the radio.
It was quite a fun day and we all were delighted because we ate French Fries, which is a quite rare thing in our lunch cafeteria.

Boat fueled by smiles
By Eduardo Almeida
Last Christmas holidays a group of students from Aveiro had an amazing idea: a boat fueled by smiles. They had the idea because they think we need to smile and this helps us smile more. This project was carried out in a garage.
The students used a boat from 1970. They cleaned the chimneys and the deck, repaired the hull and the rest of the boat.
Then they set up the electrical system for the boat, which is on the water travelling from north to south with smiles. The system has a sensor. When the sensor sees someone smiling, it accumulates energy in a battery. When the battery is loaded the boat can travel 2000 kilometres.
Come to Portugal to try it.
